Miquel has been involved in the transport sector and particularly in the railway business since the beginning of his professional career.
In 1979 Miquel joined the ‘Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona’ (Barcelona Transit Agency) in which he worked in the Traffic Technical Office.
Since the year 2000 Miquel has developed his activity in COMSA EMTE, where currently he is the General Manager of Transport and International Railway Business and General Technical Manager. He has been responsible for the launching of haulage operations in COMSA EMTE. He is also in charge of representing the interests of COMSA EMTE in the railway construction business internationally, including the COMSA subsidiaries in Chile, Argentina, Fergrupo in Portugal, Valditerra in Italy, MVM Rail in Australia and Ireland and TP-PKRE in Poland.
