  • Jilalan Rail Yard Upgrade

    Jilalan Rail Yard is a key link in the Goonyella coal supply chain, delivering export coal to the Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay coal terminals.

  • Rapid Growth Phase 4

    The project forms part of the BHP Billiton Iron Ore's Rapid Growth Project 4 (RGP4) which will expand BHP Billiton's iron ore capacity in the Pilbara from 129 to 155 million tonnes pa.

  • Eyre Peninsula Rail Upgrade (TRAX)

    The Eyre Peninsula rail project is located at Port Lincoln in South Australia. The network consists of approximately 650km of track serving the grain ports.

  • Rawang-Ipoh Track Doubling

    MVM Rail was equity participant of the Emrail/Leighton joint venture. MVM's main role during this project was to provide expertise to manage the construction, planning and supervision of a 12 month recovery programme.

  • North Quay Rail Link

    MVM Rail was responsible for all of the works required to construct a new rail terminal at the Fremantle Port, including a new dedicated spur line from the Fremantle-Perth Passenger Line.

  • Wilpinjong Coal Loop

    Construction of a 4km long new coal loop – including a 1:18.5 turnout
    on the mainline and a 1:10 turnout.

  • Rapid Growth Phase 3

    MVM Rail, in partnership with John Holland, were engaged to deliver the trackworks component of BHPBIO's Rapid Growth Project #3.

  • SCT Parkes Depot

    Construction of railways sidings for a new depot, involving 7km of new track, turnouts and signalling.

  • Boggabri Coal Loop

    Supply and construction of 4.4km coal loading loop including 2 turnouts and a catchpoint, signalling and interface with train loader.

  • New Delhi Metro Upgrade

    The construction of 38km of double track using direct fixation on top down plinth construction on viaducts.

  • LUAS Tram System

    The LUAS contract was the largest engineering project ever undertaken in
    Ireland. This Design and Construct contract was awarded to a consortium
    AMB comprising MVM Rail, Ballast Needam International and Ansaldo.

  • Austrak Dual Gauge Depot

    The construction and maintenance of a Dual Gauge Depot and Stabling Yard, with a link to the Main Line.

  • Lord St Track Lowering

    Project Management for the elimination of four overhead electrical running tracks over a level crossing.

  • Kalgoorlie to Koolyanobbing Upgrade
